ÖZET:

Günümüzde gelişen sanayii ile birlikte çalışma hayatında da oldukça yoğunluk yaşanmaktadır. Bununla birlikte çalışma hayatında var olan sorunlar da artmış bulunmaktadır. Sorunlar arasında iş sağlığı ve güvenliği konusunda yeterli önlemlerin olmayışı, çalışanların bu konu hakkında yeterli donanıma ve bilgiye sahip olmayışı gibi faktörler de mevcuttur. Çalışma hayatında iş sağlığı ve güvenliği kavramı oldukça önemli olmakla birlikte ülkemizde henüz gelişmeye devam etmekte olan bir sistem olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu sistemin kavranır hale gelmesi ve uygulanabilir olmasında eğitimin rolü oldukça büyüktür. Eğitim çalışanların bilgi düzeylerini etkilemektedir. Eğitim, iş sağlığı ve güvenliğinin çalışma sahalarında uygulanabilir olmasını sağlayacak önemli faktördür. Ancak tek başına yeterli olmadığı da açık bir gerçektir. İSG eğitimlerini başka İSG uygulamaları ile desteklemek gerekmektedir.

Bu çalışma İstanbul ili Avrupa yakasında inşaatlarda yemek üretimi yapan yemekhanelerde yürütülmüştür. Çalışanların iş sağlığı ve güvenliği farkındalığını tespit etmek amacıyla anketler yapılmış ve bilgi düzeylerini ölçen sorular yöneltilmiştir.

Anket sonuçlarından elde edilen verilerin birbiri ile olan anlamlı ilişkileri istatistiksel metotlar ile ortaya çıkarılmış ve geliştirilen hipotezler test edilmiştir. Ortaya çıkarılan bu ilişkiler ve test edilen verilerle, mevcut olan eksiklik ve sorunlara çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.

ABSTRACT:

Nowadays, there is a lot of intensity in working life together with the developing industry. However, the problems in working life have also increased. Among the problems, there are factors such as the lack of adequate precautions on occupational health and safety, the lack of adequate equipment and knowledge on the subject. Although the concept of occupational health and safety is very important in working life, it is a system that continues to develop in our country. The role of education is very important for this system to become comprehensible and applicable. Education affects the knowledge level of employees. Education is an important factor to ensure that occupational health and safety is applicable in the field of work. However, it is a clear fact that it is not enough alone. It is necessary to support OHS training with other OHS practices.

This study was conducted dining halls in constructions at european part of İstanbul. In order to determine the awareness of the employees about occupational health and safety, surveys were conducted and questions were asked to determine their level of knowledge. In addition to demographic examination, the success percentages of the employees who were trained and not received were also evaluated.

Significant correlations between the data obtained from the results of the survey were revealed by statistical methods and the hypotheses developed were tested. With these relations and the data being tested, solutions to the existing shortcomings and problems have been proposed.
